The grade 7/8 class have been given a large project comparing similarities and differences between Canada and Australia. ( chapter 5 in their Canadian Identity textbooks ). Due date TBA.

Students finished a project on a ” Health triangle ” focussing on physical,emotional, and mental health. We have also been studying factors that influence our levels of stress and how we can mange stress.

PEI Science & Technology Awareness Site
St. Peter’s Science fair is fast approaching. It will be held on March 5th in our school. The students in grade 5,6,7,8 have been given many hours of class time to work on their projects.

7/8 Technology ” technological changes assignment”

Students chose a topic and compare tecnological changes in their chosen topic area over the last several decades. ( how cell phones, TV, radio, computers, etc. have changed due to technology ). Due date December 18th. Note : 10 slides including title and references. 40 words minimum per slide.
ps. Remember Social Studies Question due: Dec 16th. ( Brainstorm the reasons why your community ( village, town,) is located where it is. ( 5 to 10 reasons). Also, view a satellite image that shows the population patterns of North America and/ or the world. ( bookmark in favorites).
